Parker Transport Racing are the first team to announce plans to use the World Supersport dominating, R9 Yamaha model on the roads in 2026.
It will run in tandem aside R1, R6 Yamaha’s at events including the TT Races, Northwest 200 and selected Irish national meetings.
In the meantime, Parker Transport Racing’s latest roads scene project, will see them tackle next month’s Steve Henshaw Gold Cup (13th-14th of September) at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough joining SMT Racing’s Rob Hodson, new TH Racing signing Bailey Harker, Cowton Racing’s Franco Bourne and William Grant.
A two-rider presence is confirmed with pilots, machines stable expected to be confirmed soon.
Gerry Parker’s team this year has worked with the likes of Julian Trummer, Gareth Arnold, Jamie Cringle and ‘King of Imatra’ Erno Kostamo.
