400cc category race victor x2 on debut at Scarborough, when sampling last year’s Barry Sheene Festival, his answers to the set of questions, are as follows:
Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“As a child watching it on tv, always wanted to give a go since then.”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“Well organised event and very helpful organisers. Great community there also, everyone very approachable for help with learning the circuit.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“Jefferies jumps, flat over the jumps is great craic.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“Couple of podiums at the Barry Sheene Festival.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“Hard to choose with all the greats that have raced there but in the modern era probably Dean Harrison.”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“Would love to get my hands on a Classic Superbike for the mount, especially an RC 30 or 45 (Honda).”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Tight”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“I have only done one race meeting at Oliver’s mount, so I’m not sure but hopefully when I get to do a few more I’ll get to know my rivals.”
