Eleven racers banked top 5’s in this category, headed by the dominant class force of this season, Stephen Gorton.
Gorton and his potent ZXR 400 Kawasaki vaulted to nine top five finishes post Cock O’The North, Barry Sheene Festival, 73rd Scarborough Gold Cup race endeavours.
Closest to Gorton’s results haul is jointly Cowton Racing’s William Grant (8) and Northumberland rider Chris Muckle (8).
