NGRRC Brands Hatch – Roads Competitor Watch

Last week Bemsee Championships season opener host, the past few days Brands Hatch (Indy circuit configuration) has hosted opening 2026 NGRRC (North Gloucester Road Racing Club) contest bursts.

2016 Senior Manx Grand Prix winner Tom Weeden, enjoyed a stellar purpose-built circuit racing relaunch, scooping all three Golden Era Open & 600 encounters.

Maidstone racer Weeden (Nobby Bear sponsored SRAD 750 Suzuki propelled today, on Saturday), whose 2025 race season ended abruptly after a major incident at Glen Helen, within the second TT qualifying session, is now back to optimum race fitness and ready for his roads’ scene comeback next month, at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough (Bob Smith Spring Cup – 11th-12th April).

Mark Parrett planning to join the 100 TT starts club in June, attained eighth, eleventh place finishes from National 600 races.

Jamie Ingham, brother of 2024 Senior Manx GP winner Dan Ingham, hauled top five finishes x3.

Rhys Hardisty, Chris ‘Rabbit’ Moore led the Mountain Course competitors challenge in the two-stroke races whilst ACU (Auto Cycle Union) FSRA (Formula Sidecar Racing Association) British F2 Sidecar action was-filled with new wave, TT podium finishing three wheeling aces including:

George Holden/Jake Lowther (Barnes Racing – LCR Honda – P1 Race One/P3 Race Two), Steve Kershaw/Rhys Gibbons (Express Tyre Service – LCR Honda – P1 Race Two), Lee Crawford/Scott Hardie (P3 Race One/P4 Race Two).

John Holden/Phil Knapton, Matty Ramsden/Ben Stell, Daryl Gibson/Sarah Stokoe, Alun Thomas/Andrew Sigsworth, Rob Handcock/Basil Bevan, and the Moore’s Bruce & Ashley.
