Crowned in September, Northern Ireland’s first IRRC Superbike Champion, Ballymoney’s Darryl Tweed prodigious tie-up with Never Be Clever Racing, has ended.
Set for pastures new in 2026, ‘Tweedy’ recently paid tribute to Andre Van Den Brink’s team.
“You all helped me arrive in 2024 as a newcomer and one year later champion, what an achievement to André as a team owner and the rest of the team. Thanks, from the bottom of my heart.”
His now previous suitors (Never Be Clever Racing), were equally cordial, humble when praising the twice Manx Grand Prix race winner’s efforts of the past two seasons on Yamaha metal.
“We want to thank Darryl for his hard work, dedication, and the unforgettable moments we’ve shared both on and off the track.
It’s been a privilege watching him grow, and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together. We wish you all the best for the Future, champ!”
