By Following a three-lap demonstration by the Irish Minibike Championship BamBam competitors ( 6-10 years of age) at the GO Classic Festival Ireland at Bishopscourt last weekend, each rider received a specially commemorative medal from the organizers, presented to each one of them by 15 times world champion, Giacomo Agostini.
Having taken time to chat with each one of them, the legendary Italian was later presented with a silver presentation plate engraved with the words:
‘In gratitude to a legend of our sport – Giacomo Agostini – for inspiring future generations’
This, along with a ‘Thank You’ card, was signed by all the young BamBam riders. In his broken English, He said Thank You to the young riders and hoped they would become champions one day!
The IMC BamBam demonstration was part of the GO Classic Festival Ireland on both days.
