Michael Dunlop Aims For Seventh Race Of Legends Crown

Michael Dunlop is aiming for an unprecedented seventh race of legends crown at Armoy, having confirmed his entry for this weekend’s meeting.

The 15 times TT winner looks set to pilot the factory Bennetts Suzuki Superbike in the Open and Race of Legends encounters, plus his Supersport TT winning YZF R6 Yamaha within the First4Printing/Bayview Hotel Supersport races.

Joining the 27 times international road race winner at Armoy, will be 41 event newcomers which include overseas entrants Patricia Fernandez (USA), Mathias Winkenjohann/Chris Meyer (Germany) and Roger Chen (Taiwan).

Added notable debutants include new Irish roads revelation, Davey Todd who will be one to watch on the Longshot Racing Kawasaki.

Guy Martin is also a confirmed entry, but it remains to be seen as to whether the multiple times world record holder will participate, given the recent news that he and Honda Racing have pulled out of the Ulster Grand Prix.

Reminder race action at Armoy, gets underway on Friday evening with the opening Senior Support and Supersport races.
