Disclosed tonight, McCrum’s Motorcycles are providing title sponsorship of an open category race (titled McCrum’s Suzuki First Open Race) at the returning post three years absence, Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 (27th-28th of June).
Commenting via Tandragee 100’s official Facebook page, Meeting Co-Ordinator, long term Clerk of The Course, Anne Forsythe stated:
“As a Club we are thrilled to have McCrum’s Motorcycles sponsor the McCrum’s Suzuki First Open Race and we are excited to see the McCrum’s Suzuki Demo bikes on the iconic Tandragee 100 course.
McCrum’s represent hard working local people who give back to their community, just as the Club wishes to do. I’d also like to encourage the public to get behind all our sponsors and support them, as well as the event.”
Anne continued:
“With our budget rising to over £150,000 and insurance increases over the past few years everyone who gives a donation or buys a spectator programme and parking package are also making an important contribution to our event, alongside the 500 volunteers who make the event possible.”
Wes McCrum of McCrum’s Motorcycles, stated:
“We are very proud to sponsor the McCrum’s Suzuki First Open Race at the Tandragee 100 Road Racing Event. We are also delighted to announce that this year we will be providing the MCUI Ulster Centre’s Travelling Marshalls Team our Suzuki Demos for the Tandragee 100 race weekend.”
As showcased above, the first Tandragee 100 since 2022, takes place below three weeks after TT Races action climaxes.
Quality fields per class are expected for Tandragee, with competitors keen to reunite themselves with one of national road racing’s most challenging circuits.
