Manx GP Top 6: Stuart Hall

Next to take part in Road Racing News brand new for 2020, Manx GP Top 6 series is former Newcomers B top six finisher Stuart Hall.

Stall Racing’s Hall who placed respectively 48th, 44th in the Junior, Senior Manx GP encounters of 2019, answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions are as follows:

Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?

“My first thoughts were that I was living the dream! I was also quite surprised by just how good the surface quality was on most sections and also just how bumpy Ginger Hall to Ramsey actually is!”

Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?

“Got to be my R6 (Yamaha). I had a horrific crash at Brandywell on it in 2018 and worked hard to return in 2019 on the exact same bike and managed to earn my first replica.”

Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?

“My first 100 mph lap back when I was a newcomer on a Suzuki SV650.”

Q4: Is there one specific Manx GP competitor that you look up to?

“Being 6 FT 2 I don’t look up at many people! I respect anyone that compete on the Mountain Course.

It’s a tough track to ride around regardless of how fast you are and every competitor is just there for the love of the sport.”

Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?

“Orgasmic”

Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?

“Honestly I’d race anything around there, even a moped. But if given the opportunity I’d go for a YZR 500 (Yamaha).”
