Son of highly respected Sidecar racer Ken Minns, 2012 Junior MGP runner-up Mike Minns is the next competitor to take part in Road Racing News rising in popularity, Manx GP Top 6 series.

To date 11 times a top twenty finisher at the Manx, his answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions are as follows:

Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?

“Dreams do come true.”

Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?

“That’s easy, my Yamaha R6.”

Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?

“Leading the 2012 Junior Manx GP for a lap and a half and finishing 2nd in that race.”

Q4: Is there one specific Manx GP competitor that you look up to?

“Alan Jackson, been the fastest man round and still putting all his knowledge into helping someone. Rewarded with 2 wins in 2019.”

Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?

“Awesome!”

Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?

“The Britten bike from New Zealand. In my eyes the best bike ever built and I got to meet him (John Britten), during one early morning practice when Mark Farmer was riding for him.”
