A second-generation roads scene pilot (after Grandfather Franz), Denmark’s first MGP racer since Carsten Svendsen, his answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions, are as follows:
Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?
“FAST! Riding the Mountain Course was an experience like nothing else!
The two first laps, was all about learning as much as possible. But for me the high speeds was the craziest thing about it.”
Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?
“I probably have to say my own bike. There’s nothing special about it, it’s an R6 (Yamaha) like every other R6 but to me, it will always be the bike I raced the Mountain Course on.”
Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?
“Hugging my whole team and especially my girlfriend in parc fermé, after crossing the finishing line in the Senior Manx Grand Prix.”
Q4: Is there one specific Manx GP competitor that you look up to?
“I admire everyone who sets their sights on racing the Mountain Course. Having done it myself, I know the kind of dedication it takes, it’s not for everyone.”
Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?
“Indescribable!”
Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?
“I think a newer 250 Grand Prix race bike would be amazing around the Mountain Course!”
