Made public this morning, seventy-five plus prospective newcomer riders have issued their interest in participating in next year’s Manx Grand Prix.
Cowton Racing’s Bailey Harker, Arthur Gissing, Jordan Larkin, Danish Superbike Champion August Kroon, Andy Herd are just a selection of the racers eyeing up first MGP ventures.
A significant watermark in any bike racers career, those first competitive laps across the dripping with history, thirty-seven and three-quarter miles long Mountain Course, are something to treasure.
Back in August, five MGP debutants lapped over 115 mph, People’s Bike Team’s Grant Thomson (118.758), Eddy Wormald (117.111), Lee Hara (116.215), James Doy (115.33) and Switzerland’s Matthieu Pauchard (115.021).
2026 MGP newcomer weekends take place respectively on the 21st & 22nd of February and 11th & 12th of July.
