Manx GP Latest: Kavanagh Declares IOM Shores Return Intention
Principal Insurance Masters Supersport Cup front runner Brandon Kavanagh has declared his intention, to undertake a second Manx Grand Prix mission in August with suitors, the Roadhouse Macau team.

’BK10’ who is also eyeing up this year Irish national road race ventures, inaugural MGP exploration saw him benefit from the words of wisdom of top ten Senior TT finisher Brian McCormack, who spoke highly about his good friend when speaking to Road Racing News during practice week.

“Brandon’s been with me since he was 12 years of age helping, he’s been around me for years, so when he said he wanted to come and do this, it was kind of a non brainer then to put him on my bike and make it as safe and as good for him as we could.

He is doing well, 106 last night for his first night, hopefully he will progress safely, all I want is for him to come home in one piece and say he enjoyed it.”

Triumph vaulted, Kavanagh obtained 37th, 48th place finishes in the four-lap long Supersport, Senior race contests.

Finishing race week carrying a best lap-speed of 110.932 mph, he finished just over 24 seconds off a sub twenty minutes’ lap time.

Reminder time for those not already aware, the 103rd Anniversary Manx Grand Prix takes place in under 220 days’ time, running from the 16th-24th of August.
