No less than four riders will compete for Ian Harrison’s vastly respected, plucky Mistral Racing team at the 101st Anniversary Manx Grand Prix.
Paul Jordan, 2022 Irish Road Race Superbike Champion Michael Sweeney, Pre-TT Classic yesteryear SBK victor Joe Yeardsley are no strangers to the Kawasaki France themed ZX-R 750’s.
New to the Mistral fold though is class winner from 2019, Adelaide ace David Johnson.
Not new to team green machinery, current or from years gone by, he goes into August’s MGP with a point to prove, determined to finalise 2024 Mountain Course racing explorations in high quality style.
Combined, ‘Davo’, the highly touted Jordan, Skerries 100 Sprint winner Sweeney, last year’s Senior race winner on debut Yeardsley, give Mistral Racing, unquestionably one of the most notable racer line-ups.
Confirmed competitors alongside them for the RST Classic Superbike race include Michael Browne (Key Racing Ducati), Rob Hodson (Greenall Racing Kawasaki), Jorge Halliday (Davies Motorsport Yamaha), Stefano Bonetti (Speed Shadows Bimota) and Julian Trummer (TC Racing).
