2025 IRRC Superbike Championship runner-up Laurent Hoffmann, is the latest racer to disclose intentions to sample next month’s Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix.
The twice IRRC Supersport Champion’s upcoming third Guia Circuit conquest, sees him racing again under his own teams Hoffmann by MRP banner, on BMW apparatus.
A top twelve finisher on debut in 2022, the Belgian roads ace’s second Macau adventure in 2024 as for all competitors was subdued with inclement weather, forcing cancellation of race proceedings, just one qualifying session taking place.
Aiming to further promote the newly created European Series Road Racing, raise money for a children’s charity, Hoffmann is looking to end his 2025 roads season in upbeat style.
Issuing via Facebook, his reaction to being invited back to Macau, he enthusiastically stated:
“Macau 2025 baby! ‘Le Petit Belge’ is again invited for the prestigious Macau Grand Prix. The 3rd time already. Thats something not everyone can say!
For me that’s the crown on a fantastic season, full of good results and faster lap-times.
A huge thanks to the Macau GP organisation and a big thanks to all of you for your endless support! Let’s get that flight case filled and start rocking halfway.”
