In what feels like another twist in a book wrote by John Le Carre, Agatha Christie, Herge, back-to-back Lightweight race winners Laylaw Racing, are now officially confirmed to not be attending the 101st Anniversary Manx Grand Prix.
Following on from a statement issued on Tuesday by multiple TT winner Eddie Laycock, an update disclosed today reads as follows:
“Laylaw racing’s team owner Gerry Lawlor has reconfirmed that Laylaw racing and its TZ Yamahas will not compete at this years’ Manx Grand Prix.
Laylaw’s team manager Eddie Laycock has stated that he hopes to continue to compete at the Manx and is planning to Launch his own Team and Gerry has offered his full support.
Eddie hopes to make an announcement in the coming weeks.”
