Originally intended to take place this month, the Kopcany Road Races will now clash with the returning Armoy Road Races, with the top Slovakia roads meeting now rescheduled for the 31st July-1st August.
Absent from last year’s roads calendar due to the Covid-19 pandemic, organisers are confident that the event will return in style next month.
By all accounts over 100 racers have already registered an interest in tackling the two day event.
The last time I covered the Kopcany Road Races was back in 2017, when the likes of Wolfgang Schuster, David Hanzalik and Czech roads great, twice IRRC Supersport Champion Marek Cerveny secured race victories.
Hopefully more great racing will be showcased in late July, early August at another of those meets which never fails to provide top quality entertainment, keenly contested race action across all classes.
