Julbach Hill Climb 2025: Stats/Facts

* Overall Bergrennen Julbach winner, TT 2025 entrant, Maurizio Bottalico is still the overall, Superbike (1.04.584), Superstock 600/Supersport (1.06.798) track-record holder at Julbach since 2023 edition.

* Twenty-one racers in total clocked sub 1:10 lap times, post Sunday’s races. The above mentioned, Maurizio Bottalico (1.04.754), also Christian Steinhauser (1.05.557), Jean-Luc David (1.05.783), Thomas Altenhuber (1.06.117), Markus Mitterbauer (1.06.463), Salvatore Sallustro (1.06.745), Alexander Kastenhuber (1.07.350), Rudolf Bauer (1.07.368), Harald Schleindlhuber (1.07.453).

Mario Grunwald (1.08.024), Manuel Schleindlhuber (1.08.190), Daniel Pfleger (1.08.347), Mario Gastinger (1.08.403), Raphael Hoffmann (1.09.174), Stefan Kuktis (1.09.331), Michael Gottinger (1.09.371), Emanuel Reisinger (1.09.563), Kevin Kolmhofer (1.09.571), Thomas Altendorfer (1.09.622), Rasmus Salmhofer (1.09.686), Ronald Kathrein (1.09.893).

* There were seven different nations represented, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland.

* Ten years ago in 2015, the Julbach Hill Climb races returned, post an absence of 31 years.

* Eight Sidecar crews competed during the weekend, fastest were Franz Kappeler / Markus Billich from Austria (1.20.610).

* Fastest solo female rider of Julbach 2025 is local lady Svenja Wurm (1.11.695) before Petra Fischer (1.34.827) and Sidecar female passenger Helga Gierlinger (1.24.301 – competing aside Sidecar driver Peter Gierlinger).

* Austrian ice-speedway legend, Red Bull athlete, aged from fifty-four from Saalfelden, Franz ‘Franky’ Zorn (1.14.677) (RD 350 Yamaha vaulted), topped the 500cc class.

* Believe it, or not, Helmut Sommer (1.52.473) fifth within the 125cc/Moto 3 class (also Horice races experienced in past years), is over eighty years of age.

* There was a clear message from double podium finisher in Superstock 600 and GP 250 classes, Thomas ‘Uccio’ Altendorfer in the Julbach paddock, wishing his team chief David Datzer, via a banner, get well soon Datziii #55.
