Disclosed via his You Tube channel, Lee Johnston revealed that for 2022 he will jointly be Team Manager and racer for Ashcourt Racing.
Alongside taking in the TT Races, North West 200, hopefully returning Ulster Grand Prix, ‘General Lee’ is also British Supersport bound during 2022, as he aims to kick on from an ultra positive 2021 campaign.
Set to work with 2020 Cemetery Circuit Races feature race winner Damon Rees, Johnston’s 2022 objectives also include potential Oliver’s Mount Scarborough outings.
This is possible as long as events at England’s only closed roads course, don’t clash with BSB meets which get underway in April (15th-17th) at the Silverstone National circuit.
Established amongst International road racing’s most popular figures, there’s no doubt that Johnston will be a prime contender this year in particular for Supersport TT, NW200, Ulster GP triumphs.
Don’t be surprised as well to see the multi Classic TT winner contend strongly for Super Twin class successes and provide accomplished, stern opposition to the anticipated 1000cc front running forces.
