The hugely popular Joey’s Bar MCC team have confirmed that they will be returning in the coming months, to the only Irish road races of 2021, the Armoy Road Races and Cookstown 100.
Since 2015 the outfit which has run the likes of Sam Wilson, Derek McGee, Paul Robinson and Wayne Kennedy, has established itself as one of Irish Road Racing’s top 125/Moto 3 teams.
High points of their racing involvement thus far includes victories at Tandragee, Faugheen, Kells, Enniskillen and multiple Ulster Grand Prix podium finishes.
Not to forget bringing back iconic liveries and Team Manager Gary Dunlop’s Irish Road Race 125/Moto 3 Championship success in 2019.
For their latest Armoy, Cookstown tenures the squad’s challenge is led by recent fastest Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough newcomer at the Spring Cup, Michael Browne.
Commenting about this topic via Facebook, Gary Dunlop said:
“Very late change of plan for this year, but looking forward to finally getting Mike Browne onboard the moto3. I understand it’s been a tough year and things aren’t easy.
But if anyone wants to come on board and help us with sponsorship in any way, please just drop a message.”
