IRRC Hengelo: Salvadori’s SBK Double, Datzer Lead IRRC Regular

Luca Salvadori, David Datzer both had reasons to be potently happy, post the ninth, last lap of the second IRRC Hengelo SBK race stint.

Former European Superstock 1000, World Supersport racer Salvadori, powered to a second big-bike triumph, having overhauled, gradually broke the challenge of eventual 2nd place capturer, Thijs Peeters.

Meanwhile, third place finisher outright, Macau GP podium finisher times x2 Datzer (Datzii Racing by TW3 Racing BMW) was No.1 of IRRC regular season participants, gobbling up 25 juicy Championship points.

Outside the top three finishers, reigning Champion Lukas Maurer was best of the rest, placing fourth.

Come Geenen banked fifth, Markus Karlsson (Hoffmann by MRP) took sixth, Wally Jacobs pocketed seventh.

Mike Parmentier, Tiziano Rosati were eighth, tenth whilst top UK rider in ninth was Varsselring first-timer Darryl Tweed (Never Be Clever Racing).

Tweed’s team-mate Rhys Hardisty grasped a twelfth-place result whilst fellow Brit Richard Charlton finished one place behind in thirteenth position.
