IRRC Hengelo: 40 Paciest Racers

When combining lap times from IRRC Supersport/Superbike, BeNeLux Trophy races, over 40 racers lapped sub 1 minute 56 seconds during the past weekend’s competitive action around the Hengelo based Varsselring.

Alongside closing to within 10 points of Lukas Maurer’s IRRC Superbike Championship lead, Didier Grams officially became the third quickest racer in history at the Netherland’s most acclaimed active road race.

On route to placing second in Sunday’s final Superbike encounter, Grams recorded a new personal best lap time of 1 minute 46.097 seconds.

MTP Racing’s David Datzer who edged out Grams for IRRC Superbike race 2 spoils, finished overall second quickest from yesterday’s exhilarating competition, registering a best lap time of 1 minute 46.642 seconds.

Others to register lap times below 1 minute 40 seconds were Davy Thoonen (1.47.522), Joey Den Besten (1.47.879), Lukas Maurer (1.47.906), Yan Ancia (1.47.907), Sander Claessen (1.48.304).

Laurent Hoffmann (1.48.790), Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Virgil Amber Bloemhard (1.49.169), Wepol Racing’s Marek Cerveny (1.49.173), Sweden’s Markus Karlsson (1.49.498) and Kamil Holan (1.49.627).

The respective 13th-40th fastest racers across the 2021 IRRC Hengelo meeting, who all banked lap times below the 1 minute 56 seconds barrier, read as follows:
