Historic Junior Classic TT: Seeded Riders Announced

Twenty-three times TT winner John McGuinness MBE as at TT 2025, will carry the No.1 plate for next month’s Historic Junior Classic TT.

The seven times Senior TT winner, not prominently known for 350cc racing exploits, Junior class pursuit sees him line up aboard one of Steadplan Racing’s CB 350 K4 Honda’s.

Steadplan Racing team-mate, good-friend, three times TT winner Davey Todd goes at eight whilst 2023 Senior Manx Grand Prix conqueror Joe Yeardsley (No.2 – Ken Rutter Racing – Honda) starts ten seconds behind McGuinness MBE.

Start numbers three and four are held-by Yorkshiremen, Dean Harrison now resident in Laxey, four times TT Privateers Champion, 2019 category winner Jamie Coward astride Craven Classic Racing/Ted Woof Honda’s.

Michael Evans (No.5 – Ken Rutter Racing – Honda) will be one to watch, same applies to seven, nine, ten plate holders, IRRC Superbike Championship leader Adam McLean (Flitwick Motorcycles by Melbray Racing – Honda), three wheeling Mountain Course goliath Dan Sayle (John Chapman Racing – Honda) and Armoy Super Twins victor x2 Paul Jordan (Davies Motorsport – Honda).

2024 class winner Harley Rushton (Chris Hughes – Honda) follows at eleven, Ulster Road Race Superbike Champion Michael Sweeney (CSC Racing/IMS LTD – Honda) is allocated the thirteen-plate.

Next up is yesteryear racing specialist Alan Oversby (Ruthless Racing – Honda), then its’ one of only two riders, assigned seeded start numbers, not CB 350 K4 Honda equipped, Tandragee 100 Man of The Meeting Shaun Anderson (Wiz Norton Racing – DKW W2000).

Concluding the first twenty starters are Pre-TT Classic front runner Will Loder (Will Loder Racing – Honda), Barry Furber armed with Flitwick Motorcycles/SMV supported Sebring Ducati exotica.

Austria’s top international road racer, competing for Francesco Faraldo’s Faraldo Racing team, Julian Trummer, Atherstone Accident Repair Centre/Team Venditti backed Maurizio Bottalico and Hel Performance/Opie Oils Ltd supported Andy Hornby.
