HeatTech Racing have secured the services of triple Manx GP winner Michael Evans, for the forthcoming 2022 and 2023 race seasons tackling a mix of high level road races, purpose built circuit racing meets.
No stranger to Nigel Humphreys HeatTech team, rising next generation roads talent Evans is already firmly established as one of the Isle of Man’s top pure road racers.
A Superbike class winner at the Pre TT Classic, he’s also enjoyed many an impressive result at the Southern 100, providing tenacious, gritty opposition to roads ‘Aliens’ such as Michael Dunlop and Dean Harrison.
TT wise, since stepping up from the Manx, it’s been mixed fortunes for Douglas based Evans.
TT 2018 yielded four top thirty finishes, which included a best run to 17th in the second Monster Energy Supersport race whilst his TT 2019 tenure ended abruptly following an incident during the Pre TT Classic Superbike encounter.
Fast forward three years and the Manxman is eagerly awaiting TT 2022, aiming to well and truly put the disappointment of 2019 behind him.
His anticipated third TT Races expedition, sees him set to take in all solo races, racing S1000RR BMW, YZF R6 Yamaha, Z650 Kawasaki machinery for aforementioned, enthusiastic suitors HeatTech Racing.
