Cringle, Colvin, Evans Amongst Weekend’s King Pins At Jurby

The second Jurby Airfield meeting of 2024, as across last month’s event (Anti-Clockwise configuration) attracted multiple roads scene speedsters.

Lead Kawasaki pilot in last year’s Junior Manx Grand Prix, Marc Colvin, took his Jurby wins total for the year to six, having wrapped up wins in the opening Post Classic, Super Twins encounters.

Oliver’s Mount, Mountain Course winner Paul Cassidy headed the Post Classic Race Two field whilst Michael Evans, completing race event signatures needed for TT 2024, was on top within the second, final Swagelok Open 1300cc Solo race.

The previous day (20th April), Evans was sampling Wirral 100, Oulton Park competition.

Before the former Senior Manx GP winner’s triumph, the opening Open 1300cc Solo race had seen the Cringle’s Ryan & Jamie leading proceedings.

It was Ryan (Cringle) finishing No.1 in front of Jamie (Cringle) with just past two seconds covering the next generation IOM road racers.
