By Spellbinding speeds, phenomenal lap times encapsulated this year’s Oliver’s Mount, Cock O’The North meeting.
No less than three new class lap records were set, two by 26 times TT podium finisher Dean Harrison.
Harrison’s new record Supersport lap time of 1:44.677 seconds, was by far the fastest lap combined from Saturday, Sunday’s real roads action.
Tenacious lead challenger throughout the bulk of Supersport races, JMcC Roofing Racing’s Adam McLean, neared the sub 1:47 seconds lap mark, setting a best lap time of 1:47.034 seconds.
Six more racers, nudged under the 1:50 seconds lap barrier, overall feature races runner-up Michael Browne, Rob Hodson, Gary McCoy.
Joey ‘Yorkshire’ Thompson, Andy Smart and Scarborough racing returner Mike Norbury.
Overall, 36 racers recorded sub 2:00 minute laps, illustrating the proficient standard from the past weekend.
