TT 2025, Sidecar races runner-up times two, Ben Birchall/Patrick Rosney will not be competing aside each other in 2026, with differing commitment perspectives cited as the prime reason behind the split.
The all-English pairing has hauled together twenty-one TT rostrum finishes with passenger Rosney, claiming in June his first TT podiums.
Whilst driver, fourteen times TT winner, Birchall’s new sidekick for next year, is as-yet not official, he left a strong hint in a recent released statement:
“With a mutual difference in commitments for 2026, Birchall Racing will be heading in a new direction next season.
Big appreciation to Paddy for his support and professionalism throughout this process.
At Brands Hatch this weekend, Mark Wilkes will now join Ben for a little sneak preview of what’s to come in 2026.
It’s been a blast, Paddy – wishing you all the best for what’s next.”
