Around A Pound Tandragee 100: McGee Banks Fourth Win Of The Day After Sizzling Senior Open

Supersport victor, 125/Moto 3 winner, Super Twins winner, Derek McGee took his total of victories today at this year’s Around A Pound Tandragee 100 to four, after a close fought, gripping, sizzling Senior Open.

As in the Open race, involved in a high quality battle with Derek Sheils, it was roles reversed this time around for McGee who became the hunter, rather than the hunted.

Heading into final lap, keeping close proximity with Sheils, ZX-10RR Kawasaki mounted McGee on the sixth and final lap, powered back into race lead.

Crossing the line at the completion of lap six, he secured race victory by just 0.195 of a second!
