Replacing new Burrows Engineering by RK Racing signing Dominic Herbertson, up coming IOM road racer Gareth Arnold has gained an enterprising opportunity with Cowton Racing.
A Mountain Course debutant in 2022, Ramsey based Arnold went onto take a very creditable ninth place finish in the Dunlop Lightweight Manx Grand Prix.
For 2023, he made the decision to enter the TT Races, tackling the Carole Nash Super Twin races.
Holding the 38-plate, RS660 Aprilia powered Arnold gave a more than decent account of himself, attaining 22nd, 15th place finishes, recording a best lap speed of 113.609 mph.
Returning to the topic of joining Cowton Racing, his new suitors are set to run him this year at the TT Races and selected purpose-built circuit, national roads events including Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough meets.
