Armoy 2025: Official Launch Ups Anticipation Levels

Shown live on Facebook, the official launch of this year’s Armoy Road Races (25th-26th of July), upped and some the anticipation levels for next month’s race thrills.

Racers confirmed today, to contest the latest Armoy roads scene spectacular included KTS Racing Powered by Stanley Stewart’s Jamie Coward, who indicated that he is pretty much back to full race fitness, having been forced to pull out of TT 2025, following an incident in the opening Super Twins encounter, at the Northwest 200.

Recent TT rostrum finishers Paul Jordan (Jackson Racing Powered by Prosper) and Dominic Herbertson (HRRC), Neil Kernohan, 2023 Senior Manx Grand Prix winner, Scott Racing’s Joe Yeardsley, leading French road racer Amalric Blanc (TH Racing) join Coward on the start-list.

Prospective 2025 Armoy competitors, have till the 20th of June, to register their interest in competing.

Emphasising this, Clerk of The Course, William Munnis said:

“With only a few days left for riders to confirm their entries we are asking everyone to get yourself in gear and submit that entry!”

Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club Chairman, Gareth McAuley stated the following about how entry-lists per race (14-race schedule announced), are shaping up:

“We have received several strong entries so far, many of which are fan favourites.

Alongside a good representation of local talent, we’re also seeing riders from Germany, France and Italy, who will be vying for the top spot in July.

We have a full programme of 14 races across the Friday and Saturday, and I have no doubt that it will once again be an exciting and adrenaline filled event, for all the fans.”

Going onto praise all event sponsors, who help maintain the Armoy Road Races position as a prime cornerstone in roads scene calendars each year, he stated:

“We’ve said it time and time again, but we really couldn’t run this iconic event without the support of our sponsors, so we are truly indebted to them.

We’re very lucky to have the backing of several local businesses who clearly love the sport as much as we do – thank you to every one of them.”

Trevor Kane, Bayview Hotel proprietor, whose company is again providing title backing for the premier race of the meeting, the ‘Race of Legends’, added:

“We have been involved with the Armoy Road Races since its inception and that’s something I’m very proud of.

It’s such an iconic event that draws a huge number of visitors and thus economic boost to the locality. As a fan of road racing, I’m personally really looking forward to a great two days of road racing in July.”
