The municipality of Dymokury, each year hosts one of the Czech Republic’s top road races.
Regularly attracting an impressive entry, it’s no different this year with Czech roads alumni joined by a selection of IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) talents.
Runner-up in last years’ IRRC Superbike Championship and Macau Grand Prix, MTP Racing’s David Datzer aboard M1000RR BMW tackle starts for a fare few, favourite for honours in Sunday’s 16-lap Superbike race.
Pretty much untouchable during last month’s Czech TT at Horice, ‘Datzii’ back in June became Germany’s quickest TT racer in history.
Alongside Datzer, notable racers set for this weekend’s Dymokury roads spectacular include:
IRRC Supersport Championship leader Marek Cerveny, lap record holder Michal Prasek, Tomas Toth (GARO Racing), Team Schleizer Dreieck’s Sebastian Frotscher.
Ales Nechvatal (Dafit Motoracing), Karel Brandtner (Blue Garage Racing), Jiri Petrla, 100th Anniversary Manx GP participant Veronika Hankocyova, Christopher Eder.
Florian Astner, Tomas Borovka, Chris Meyer and British visitors Peter Howarth, James Walker.
Nine races are due to take place at Dymokury on Sunday whilst tomorrow’s qualifying action, commences from 08:00 AM (local time).
