By New EWC (Endurance World Championship) Champions, EWC final round, 24 Hours Bol d’Or outright race winners were the BMW Motorrad World Endurance team of Markus Reiterberger (unofficial all-time lap record holder at Schleizer Dreieck, achieved during IDM qualifying session in 2022), Steven Odendaal and Michael Van Der Mark (Varsselring-Hengelo experienced) with 742 laps to their credit.
The YART Yamaha Official EWC Team, third last weekend, recording 740 laps, featuring Leandro Mercardo, Marvin Fritz, Karel Hanika Jr (son of late, great Karel Hanika Sr, Dymokury and Horice experienced), lost the EWC title crown to BMW by just four points.
Frenchman Corentin Perolari (P4 with F.C.C TSR Honda France), set a new official EWC, Bol d’Or lap-record (1.52.320).
Our main-focus though, is surmising former, current international roads scene/hill-climb competitors event tenures.
Fifteenth overall, sixth within the Post Classic 750 class – Bol d’Or Classic race with BFP Racing alongside team-mate Philippe Mosbeux was French-Brittany time-trial ace Jules Boyer.
