Red-flagged originally after heavy bouts of rain, the re-started, cut to five laps IRRC Supersport title decider at Frohburg would prove immensely prosperous for both Matej Vit and all-time IRRC race wins record holder Marek Cerveny.
TME Racing’s Vit, following an unbelievable final lap, usurped long-term first place occupier Petr Najman for a first IRRC race triumph, winning by 0.2 of a second.
Meanwhile, Cerveny fourth behind Freddie Heinrich, collected the points he needed to make it an incredible seven IRRC titles!
Cerveny’s Championship winning advantage over afore-mentioned fellow Czech roads supremo Najman, is just seven points.
Finalising the first ten finishers from the tenth, final round of this year’s IRRC Supersport Championship were:
Wally Jacobs (fifth), ‘AKA Driver’ Gary Johnson (sixth), race victor back in July at Chimay, Kevin De Haan (seventh).
Rico Vetter (eighth), Sebastian Frotscher (ninth) and SD Racing 118’s Stephane Demalsy (tenth).
