In perfect conditions at Horice, Marek Cerveny stole the show in IRRC Sportbike second qualifying, unofficially beating his own, existing Super Twins circuit lap-record.
Sportbike Q2 opening laps saw Karel Pesek setting the pace before IRRC wins record-holder Cerveny, found an extra gear, three-times consecutively recording lap times inside 2 minutes 20 seconds, the best of whom set across his seventh timed lap, (2.19.554).
Q1 leader Pesek (JK Moto Podebrady – RS660 Aprilia) was-beaten to the second quickest time by Czech TT hero Michal ‘Indi’ Dokoupil (Indi Racing – RS660 Aprilia) whilst top full-time IRRC Sportbike exponent in sixth place was Jamie Williams (NCE Racing – RS660 Aprilia).
