2026 Classic TT: Junior 600 Seeded Riders Unveiled

Unveiled recently, 2023 Senior Manx Grand Prix winner Joe Yeardsley, will hold the prestigious No.1 plate for the first ever Junior 600 Classic TT instalment.

Yeardsley, sixth within the sole Sportbike encounter of TT 2026, category steed is YZF-R6 Yamaha metal, supported by Tony Leach Joinery.

Two, three, five plate carriers, JRC Racing’s Brian McCormack, Robinson Timber backed Barry Furber, who has referred to the Junior 600 class, as Classic Supersport, Neil Orford Haulage sponsored Rob Hodson, all jockey YZF-R6 Yamahas.

Armoy Classic Superbike race winner Marcus Simpson astride Duckshaw Racing’s ZX-6R Kawasaki has the four-plate whilst Michael Dunlop MBE holds his traditional favourite number of six.

The TT wins record holder, is-entered under his own teams’ banner with SRAD GSX-R600 Suzuki apparatus.

Jonathan Perry (Keith Woods – CBR600 Honda), Complete Plumbing Solutions Yamaha equipped Michael ‘Jack’ Russell, Timothee Monot (Morbihan-Moto – ZX-6R Kawasaki), Ulster Road Race Classic Supersport Champion, Jason Morrow/WR Racing R6 Yamaha pilot Ryan Whitehall conclude the first ten seeded racers.

Scarborough King of The Mount Championship leader, Club 77 Suzuki (SRAD GSX-R 600) vaulted Tom Weeden (No.11), Peter Todd Racing’s Tom Robinson (No.12), David ‘Riggerz’ Rigby (No.14) triply supported by Daryl Blake Construction, Manncann and Heatmann will be the next three riders scheduled to descend-down Bray Hill.

Wrapping up those assigned top twenty start numbers are Gorilla Racing/Island Fuels supported Paul Cassidy (No.16), FAO by PMCG & DMAC’s Graham McAleese (No.17), Julien Cregniot (No.18) aboard Mitas Scorpion Monsieur Pingouin Yamaha tackle, three decades a Mountain Course competitor Dennis Booth (No.19), good friend of Callum ‘Skoot’ Laidlaw, Michael Mackinnon (No.20).
