By Armoy Road Races organisers, the AMRRC (Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club Limited) have issued their delight at the past week’s ultra-successful event delivery.
Michael Browne’s ‘Race of Legends’, debutant Richard Cooper taking the Super Twins lap-record to 101.192 mph, Cowton Racing’s Bailey Harker attaining Support races double, Barry Davidson moving onto 114 Irish road race wins in total, were just some-of the momentous highlights.
Forty plus newcomers, was another major positive, as stated by meeting Race Secretary, Glen Sayers:
“You could see the excitement when they came back in after their first laps, especially after sections like the Lagge jumps.
It shows that the next generation of riders is really buying into this event.”
Armoy Clerk of The Course, William Munnis, is already looking forward to next year’s event edition:
“We’re already thinking ahead to 2027. We’ll build on what went well this year, listen to riders’ perspectives, and keep raising the bar for safety, professionalism, and the overall experience.”
