By Prospective Manx Grand Prix debutant Wally Jacobs leaves Circuit De Chimay, with the IRRC Sportbike Championship lead, post triumphing within the five-lap re-started, second Sportbike encounter (did not feature Race 1 victor Jamie Williams).
The Dutch rider aboard the Racing Team Block RS660 Aprilia, trailed prior to hitting the front on lap three, Czech racer Patrik Serbousek (Motoklub Vecna Jizda/AZ PNEU Moto Team Powered by VK Racing – Aprilia).
Once Jacobs gained the initiative out front, he expanded lap on lap the margin to Serbousek, eventually, taking his second category win of 2026, by almost 5.43 seconds (5.429 to be exact).
Cristophe Carlier took third whilst Hoffmann by MRP’s Rutger Peersman pipped fellow Belgian Yannik Jacops (SJL Racing International Road Race Team – Aprilia) for fourth.
