By 2026 NW200 Race Week (4th-9th May) news update, this time about vital individuals, without whom the event would not take place.
Ballymena Honda, Feridax have pledged their support to the Northwest 200 travelling marshals’ squad, providing CBR 600RR/CBR1000RR-R Fireblade Honda’s and Shoei helmets.
Discussing this matter, Ballymena Honda Dealer Principal, Kurt Harmer, stated:
“The travelling marshal team is a vital part of any road race and we want to help ensure they have the very best equipment available to them. I’ve watched the racers competing at the NW200 over the years and have been in awe of their skill and speed.
I’m also delighted to be taking up the post of one of the marshal riders this year. I’ve been involved in road racing all my life and it really is an honour to be part of the team that play an essential role in the safe running of the event and the Honda machinery we are providing will be invaluable.
I’d like to thank Honda UK for their assistance in providing the bikes and Feridax for their support in providing Shoei helmets.”
