By Historic Junior Classic TT winner Paul Jordan (Laserscanning Europe by PSB Motorsport – Yamaha) swept Saturday’s Frohburg Supersport qualifying sessions, as ‘PJ’ made a splash on the IRRC scene.
Fastest in Q1, the reigning Armoy ‘Man of The Meeting’ set a rampant pace across Q2, rapidly lowering his personal best times.
For large parts lapping in the mid, low 1.38 seconds bracket, his final, ninth timed lap would see him move into the 1.37’s, circulating the acclaimed Frohburger Dreieck circuit in 1 minute 37.721 seconds.
Such was Jordan’s pace expansion, second quickest, 2025 IRRC Supersport Champion elect Marek Cerveny (WRP Wepol Racing Parts – Triumph – 1.38.818) finished plus one second down.
Third to seventh fastest, Matej Vit (1.39.463), Petr Najman (1.39.766), Mauro Poncini (1.39.836), Ilja Caljouw (1.39.866), Gary Johnson (1.39.868) proved closely matched, separated by under half a second.
Eighth to eleventh quickest, Moritz Klaus (1.42.364), Rico Vetter (1.42.518), Supersport & Junior Manx Grand Prix winner Jamie Williams (1.42.650), Jan Buchel (1.42.875) were all lapping sub 1.43 seconds.
Remaining competitors, registering times under 104 seconds were David Brook (1.43.139), Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Wesley Ankersmid (1.43.630), and Thomas Wendel (1.43.863).
