Victorious with seven different marques from TT racing odysseys, TT 2025 saw him expand his golden Mountain Course racing resume, winning both, Monster Energy Supersport, Metzeler, Entire Cover Insurance Super Twin races.
Outside the TT, ‘Maverick’ has collected to date, 124 Irish road race victories, the latest attained within this year’s Briggs Equipment Northwest 200, winning opening Supersport, Superstock races and an intriguing second Superbike race.
Twenty-five times a Southern 100 winner, one could write for ages, covering the race wins, lap-records, pole-positions, unique moments achieved by the Ballymoney rider.
Following his legendary uncle Joey, in becoming the second member of the Dunlop racing dynasty, to be, recognised by royalty, the MBE honour is fitting for one of motorcycle racing’s true one-off personalities, talents.
