Horice is one of those roads’ circuits, that you can’t help but become fixated on. There’s a real-world quality, old-school unfiltered persona, which makes it a utopia for real road racing super fans.

The 62nd Horice hosted 300 Curves of Gustav Havel edition, again attracted a strong, animated crowd, who watched up close Czech roads scene alumni, IRRC front-runners.

Opening races saw Petr Najman (as previously reported), Michal Vecko capture Supersport, SP (Sport Production) 125 race spoils.

Moritz Nestler, Rico Vetter, Radek Lamich shared class wins in concurrently run GP (Grand Prix) 125/Moto 3, 250 Open, Supersport 300 races.

Finn ‘Crazy Chicken’ Chapman retained the Supermono race title, post a race long scrap with above-featured Moritz Nestler.

Ondrej Mraz (new Supersport 400 lap-record holder) topped the Supersport 400 field whilst Super Twins contest kudos, went to five times IRRC Supersport series winner Marek Cerveny.

Cerveny, widely recognised as one of the Czech Republic’s best-ever pure-road racers, victory margin at the finish-lap, exceeded seven seconds.

Jan Markalous attained second with third going to the only Isle of Man entrant, JLG Racing/NCE Racing’s Jamie Williams.

Before Super Twins action, the sole Superbike encounter was red-flagged after five-laps, (wishing Ales Sykora a swift and speedy recovery).

The race result was determined via competitors’ positions, at the end of lap-four, with Garo Racing’s Tomas Toth declared the race winner. Jiri ‘Joker’ Petrla, David Hanzalik were awarded second, third.
