61st 300 Curves of Gustav Havel: Stats/Facts

* David Datzer (2.20.169), Johannes Schwimmbeck (2.21.625) and Tomas Toth (2.22.037) are fastest racers of the weekend and in the same order also Superbike race podium finishers (first time Horice podium for Schwimmbeck and Toth).

* Others obtaining sub 2:25 minutes lap times last weekend, despite the tricky weather conditions throughout last weekend were long-term second place occupier in the SBK race, before retiring, Karel Pesek (2.22.779), Andreas Jochum (2.23.107), Florian Astner (2.23.176) Marek Stibor (2.23.288) and Jiri Petrla (2.23.548).

* Horice lap record holder David Datzer (CD Racing / Team ILR with Frog Vehicle Developments), Michal ´Indi´ Dokoupil (Meca Prestige / RockNet) and Veronika Hankocyova (Wonder Women Racing Team by Buldoci) will be TT 2024 entrants with mentioned teams after their latest Horice racing expeditions.

* Patrick Hoff, fourth fastest rider of Horice history, will be TT 2024 newcomer this month, next month. He was announced at 61st 300 Curves of Gustav Havel start-list but he did not arrive with his Superbike to the Horice paddock.

* Added TT 2024 entrants with Horice racing experiences are: Davey Todd (still fastest Horice newcomer since 2019), Amalric Blanc, Pierre Yves Bian, Eddy Ferre, Jonathan Goetschy, Gary Johnson, Forest Dunn, Wayne Bourgeais, Rhys Hardisty, Timothee Monot, Jamie Coward, Erno Kostamo and Shaun Anderson.

* In total 14 permanent IRRC 2024 participants sampled the 61st 300 Curves of Gustav Havel event, David ‘Datzii’ Datzer, Johannes Schwimmbeck, Jakub Sprojcar, Emil Krchnavy, Andreas Jochum, Rico Vetter.

Karel ‘Chupa’ Brandtner, Sebastian ‘Frosch’ Frotscher, Marek Cerveny, Petr Najman, Lukas Vaclavovic, Jamie Williams, Horice newcomers Rene Mlkvy and Matthieu Pauchard.

* David Datzer is now an eight times Horice winner and officially the most successful non-Czech racer. He last minute did not bring to Horice his announced Aprilia RS 125 Sport Production steed which he last raced as a teenager.

* Patrik Kolar (GP 125 class) improved his all-time wins CV, has 13 wins at 300 Curves of Gustav Havel event, second in this ranking is another victor from last Sunday Radek Lamich (Supersport 300) – 11 wins.

* Petr Najman, Supersport, Super Twins race victor, has now eight wins (accrued at 300 Curves of Gustav Havel). Marek Cerveny did not finish middleweight, Super Twin races following crashes on Sunday whilst contending for podium places.

* Top ten finisher in the Superbike race Thomas Altendorfer (2.27.227) is provisional fastest newcomer of 2024 around Horice.

* Supermono race pace setters, victorious debutant Finn Chapman originally from England, Moritz Nestler astride ex Petr Najman machinery, are jointly the ninth fastest Supermono pilots in Horice history, with the duo last week setting the same PB lap time (2.31.272).

* Dutch rider Toufik Bijenhof, Isle of Man racer Jamie Williams, two riders registered for the Belgian Twin Trophy Road Race Challenge, were first time Horice podium finishers, having taken second, third place finishes behind No.1 Twins exponent Petr Najman.

* Ales Sykora, former mechanic for Michal ‘Indi’ Dokoupil, also opened his Horice podium finishes account one year after his circuit debut, via swooping third in the sole Supersport race.

* Swiss legend Rolf Blatter was again at the start of the GP 125 / Moto3 race, it means 45 years after his Horice debut in 1979 (2nd in the 50cc World Championship in that same year).

* Didier Grams was in attendance, only as a spectator following injuries sustained from a test session at Autodrom Most, and as the man with the checkered for finishes of Supermono, Supersport 400 intertwined races.

* Unfortunately, Czech ace Kamil Holan (20 years since first Horice voyage) has a broken arm bone injury after his high side in Saturday qualifying. Czech IRRC participant Jakub Sprojcar has also some broken bones following his Superbike race slip-off. Wish them both a very speedy recovery!
