54th Macau Motorcycle GP: Stats/Facts Wrap Up

* As stated previously, Erno Kostamo is the first non UK racer to clinch the Macau GP bikes title since Andreas Hoffmann in 1997.

* Finland’s top pure road racer additionally became the 30th different winner, of one of international road racing’s top prizes.

* BMW’s Macau GP wins total now stands at four.

* Nine nations have now produced biking Champions at Macau.

* Race runner-up this year, David Datzer became the first German racer since Peter Rubatto to claim a Macau GP podium finish.

* Three of the top ten finishers piloted Honda machinery.

* Just under 28 seconds covered the top six finishers.

* 9 racers in total, overall race time was below 21 minutes.

* All but two of the first ten finishers, were BMW, Honda, Kawasaki powered.

* Finishing 12th, Nadieh Schoots made history, becoming the first female racer to finish the
Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix.

* Didier De Radigues remains the last Suzuki mounted rider, to have enjoyed a Guia Circuit based
race win.
