* Race runner-up this year, David Datzer became the first German racer since Peter Rubatto to claim a Macau GP podium finish.
* Three of the top ten finishers piloted Honda machinery.
* Just under 28 seconds covered the top six finishers.
* 9 racers in total, overall race time was below 21 minutes.
* All but two of the first ten finishers, were BMW, Honda, Kawasaki powered.
* Finishing 12th, Nadieh Schoots made history, becoming the first female racer to finish the
Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix.
* Didier De Radigues remains the last Suzuki mounted rider, to have enjoyed a Guia Circuit based
race win.
