Before TT 2023 officially commences, the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races take top billing this week.
No less than 318 competitors, 32 of whom newcomers, are Castletown bound for the event, which over the past five decades has hosted action-packed yesteryear machine contests.
Notable entrants due to sample the ten scheduled races, which boasts a combined overall prize-pot of £14,540 pounds include:
TT Privateers Champion Jamie Coward, Dominic Herbertson, Alan Oversby, Cookstown ‘Man of The Meeting’ Barry Davidson.
Super Twins TT participant Gareth Arnold, Rhys Hardisty, fellow Welshman Hefyn Owen.
Chris Moore, Mike Hose, prospective Manx GP newcomer Joe Yeardsley, recent North West 200 podium finishers Adam McLean and Paul Jordan.
Confirmed Sidecar pilots include Rod Bellas/Glen Dawson, Danny Quirk/Dylan Weston and Eddy Wright/Trevor Johnson.
Sub one week now till the TT 2023 festival enters the horizon and anticipation is increasing by the day, for the return of pure road racing Isle of Man style.
With as aforementioned a 318 strong entry, allied to an as ever thorough mix of in-house, stylish, authentic, one-off yesteryear steeds, it’s no wonder that the Pre-TT Classic is considered one of the must visit event for classic racing enthusiasts worldwide.
