2026 Swiss Hill Climb Road Race Championship: Dates Disclosure

2026 Swiss Hill Climb Road Race Championship: Dates Disclosure

After the previously published French national Hill-Climb Championship calendar, the provisional 2026, Swiss Hill-Climb Road Race Championship dates are now also available.

The series itinerary features four rounds in France intertwined with ‘Championnat de France de la Montagne’ plus the highlight of this Championship, the Swiss racing gem Boecourt–La Caquerelle (4th-5th July).

This year’s overall Championship medallists, in the same order in both big-bike categories (Superbike and Supersport) were Joffray Lelievre, Uwe Rademacher and Steven Bellavoine.

Already mentioned, double Swiss 2025 Hill Climb Champion, French rider, Joffray Lelievre set in Boecourt-La Caquerelle, last July a new overall-track record (1.17.94).

Supersport track-record holder of this event is multiple European Hill Climb Road Race Champion, Italian supremo Maurizio Bottalico (1.18.88 in 2022), sixth in last week’s Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix and fastest 2025 Guia Circuit newcomer.

When highlighting the Switzerland road racing scene, one must note the fastest Swiss exponent at the TT, Northwest 200, Hengelo (Varsselring), Circuit De Chimay, Horice, Frohburger Dreieck, Imatranajo and Macau (top five finisher from last weekend’s race), the 2023 IRRC Superbike Champion, Lukas Maurer.

Another prime Swiss racing talent, Matthieu Pauchard, the 2022 Superbike Swiss Hill Climb Champion and Supersport class winner, earlier this year at Boecourt-La Caquerelle, was a permanent IRRC Supersport rider in 2023 & 2024 seasons, a few months back made his Manx Grand Prix racing debut (P21 in Senior race).

This just illustrates that Switzerland has a-lot to offer the pure road racing hemisphere, in-spite of full-scale road races not being-held there.

2026 rounds of Swiss Hill Climb Road Race Championship will be at:

13th-14th June – Marchaux (France)
4th-5th July – Boecourt-La Caquerelle (Switzerland)

25th-26th July – Le Petit-Abergement (France)
