After a one-year absence, the Sredisce ob Dravi, Slovenia based ‘Slovenija Classic TT’ (street-circuit – 1,265 metres long) event (edition No.8) returned last weekend, accompanied by sunny weather.
The season opener for neighbouring nation, Croatia’s national Road Racing Championship (different classification per class from below illustrated results, including participants on Sunday like Davor Grgan and Hrvoje Buntak), yesteryear classics action additionally featured.
Over the summer months, real roads events commence in Croatia, firstly the Prize of Krizevci (21st June), secondly Nora Race in Nova Raca (23rd August) and thirdly the Prize of Zelina (30th August).
Krizevci, Sveti Ivan Zelina action, traditionally welcomes four-stroke (600cc/1000cc) contests.
Croatian history maker, Zagreb’s Loris Majcan, recently shone at TT 2026, taking the Bihui Yamaha Racing Team steed (YZF-R9 Yamaha) to thirty first place finishes x2 in Monster Energy Supersport races.
He is the outright lap-record holder at previously profiled event, ‘Croatian Monte Carlo’, Prize of Krizevci (48.849 from 2023, unofficial record time set in 2024 by Luka Nervo – 48.136).
