2026 Manx GP: Newcomers Update

At roughly 1:37 PM, mandatory introductory laps for this year’s batch of Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT newcomers got underway.

Course conditions reported by Clerk of The Course Gary Thompson MBE BEM, were decent albeit rain flags would be displayed at Stella Maris and Whitegates.

First away behind Richard ‘Milky’ Quayle, was his son Illiam Quayle (Team ILR with Frog Vehicle Developments), Andrew Herd and Aaron West (Endless Motorsports) who soon hit technical problems.

Added experienced riders showing Mountain Course debutants around included John McGuinness MBE, Paul Jordan, Dominic Herbertson.

Nathan Harrison, Carolynn Sells, John Barton and back to race fitness, Don Gilbert (Parker Car Transport Racing).
