2026 Euro Moto Finale, Hockenheimring: Roads Competitor Watch

Autumn 2026 two-wheel roads scene, purpose-built circuits action in Germany, continued last week, via the final Euro Moto round at the legendary, former F1 and Motorcycle Grand Prix races Hockenheimring (circuit-inception in 1932).

Florian Alt netted a new Euro Moto/IDM Superbike lap-record (1.24.725) whilst Ducati apparated Lukas Tulovic wrapped up the 2026 Euro Moto Superbike title.

Roads-scene aces participating included double podium finisher from last month’s IRRC Superbike races at Frohburger Dreieck, promising German talent Freddie Heinrich (featured in main article photo aside five-times IRRC Superbike Champion, Didier Grams) plus IRRC race winners of recent times, Marvin Siebdrath, Thijs Peeters, RVS Motorsport’s Niko Lehtiranta and Luca Gottardi.

It is interesting to note that after only one year, under the Euro Moto brand, the series will revert-back next season to being known as IDM (Internationale Deutsche Motorradmeisterschaft).

This weekend, another notable Germany based event takes place, the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben hosted Sidecar Festival incorporating the Sidecars World Championship season finale (sprint race today – 4:15 PM, main race on Sunday – 2:20 PM start time – local time) featuring pure roads experienced titans Harry Payne/Kevin Rousseau, Pekka Paivarinta/Adam Christie and Sam Christie/Tom Christie.
