2026 Boecourt–La Caquerelle Hill Climb Synopsis

Coinciding with the Imatranajo meeting, the 42nd Boecourt to La Caquerelle road-race hill-climb (Swiss track near French border), commenced last weekend.

Overall winner on both Saturday and Sunday was Michael Paratte (Boecourt Moto Racing Team – GSX-R 750 Suzuki), who recorded a fastest time of 1.18.23, just 0.29 seconds behind best-ever event time, 1.17.94, achieved last year by Joffray Lelievre.

Top Swiss road racer, presently sixth in this year’s IRRC Supersport Championship, Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Mauro Poncini, captured Supersport (‘Class 600 cc’) Swissmoto Championship race honours x2.

Poncini is set to join Manx Grand Prix rider ranks next month, riding for Trevor Scott’s Scott Racing team.

Fastest female rider was 1200cc Ducati equipped Siri Alder (1.25.22), followed by Beatrice Mauroux and Nuria Alder.

Additional noted competitors amongst the results sheets included, IRRC experienced, Swiss legend Roger Bantli, 2026 European Hill Climb Road Race Championship participants Rolf Haller, Uwe Rademacher, Frederic Bongard, Philippe Bongard plus former rider of this Championship Raphael Peclat (eleven years ago, ‘300 Curves of Gustav Havel’ Horice, Superbike race exponent).
