On a day when unofficially, 125 Sport Production, Supermono, Supersport 400, Super Twins lap records fell, second Supersport 300 Curves of Gustav Havel, qualifying saw Gary ‘AKA Driver’ Johnson make his mark at Horice, beating to pole position, six times IRRC Champion Marek Cerveny.
Twice TT winner Johnson (Team Schleizer Dreieck – Suzuki), who will be on Manx shores for TT 2026 but not competing, finished 0.114 faster than Czech roads scene icon Cerveny (WRP Racing – Triumph).
Fellow Czech IRRC front runner Matej Vit was third quickest, only 0.162 further in arrears.
